On May 12, 2025, during the performance of a combat mission, the famous TV presenter and actor/participant of the Diesel Show comedy show and serviceman of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, Maksym Nelipa, gave his life for Ukraine.

The artist’s wife, Tamara Nelipa, confirmed the tragic information, noting that investigations into the circumstances of the death are currently underway. It is only known that Maksym was killed in battle with the enemy. Recently, he served as a unit commander.

Maksym Nelipa was a famous Ukrainian actor and TV presenter, a participant of the KVK, and host of the popular TV shows Lose a Million and Pidyom. In 2017, he joined the Diesel Show team.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, in March 2022, Maksym joined the ranks of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

The National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) expresses its sincere condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Maksym Nelipa. Eternal memory to the Hero!
