A reliable source of information for residents of the Cherkasy Region is the regional broadcaster – the Ildana TV and Radio Company. Television news broadcasts always gather a wide audience. Popular television programs attract viewers with the relevance of the topic, the presence of interesting personalities in the frame, and the raising of issues that concern them. Live broadcasts allow Cherkasy residents to be direct participants in a particular event. In addition to television, media workers ensure the operation of the website, YouTube channel, and Facebook page. Thus, the Ildana TV and Radio Company team comprehensively and on various media platforms shows the life of their native land, focusing on overcoming the challenges of war.

The intensive work of the team, headed by Valentyna Dushok, Honored Journalist of Ukraine Secretary of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU), does not stop under any circumstances. After all, the viewer must receive the television product at a precisely specified time.

In general, the regional television and radio company is an energy-intensive media. At all stages of program creation, electricity is required. The topic of the work of Cherkasy media workers during the period of multiple power outages during the day was discussed with the director of the Ildana TV and Radio Company. Now, they are working without interruption because the team received a powerful generator from the NUJU in partnership with UNESCO, emphasized Valentyna Dushok.

Media workers have to save on some expenses in order to allocate funds for the purchase of fuel for the generator. In general, the company is trying to pursue a reasonable policy on income and expenses.
